When I started blogging I ran into the difficulty of learning new stuff that I don't even have questions for. I took notes, but not enough notes to be able to repeat what I had done at another time. I also found that I needed to move along too quickly, so it seemed that I wasn't learning anything. What helped was needing to work on the NRI site. This helped me to focus on the purpose that had brought me to blogging and forced me to pay attention to my questions.
It still feels like a lot of new stuff. I think my notes are getting better, and my understanding. At least I have questions.
What's most striking is the amound of writing that people do who engag in in blogging. I suspect it has a lot of potential for teaching for this reason.
